Summary:With the fast development of Internet, publishing information online has become an efficient and widely used way to exchange information globally. Online education or online courses have gained in popularity over the last ten years. Online learning has expanded the uses of new media and technology in developing skills and knowledge. This project aims to create an interactive and collaborative drawing platform, where users across the world can work on same drawing simultaneously. The proposed platform is website based, enables a Drawing Pad web application as plugin to the main website. The project is divided into two parts, the application and the website, which is developed by two students separately. The report author works on the website, which allows users to register as members and upload their own work to the drawing gallery. This report details the lifecycle of web design and development. Process of User interface design principles is applied throughout the design process. New approaches of web implementation are introduced. Testing scenarios and webpage validations are also analysed. At the end of the report, future enhancement recommendations are presented.
