As wind energy is play the important role in the energy generation all around the world, the potential of wind energy generation should be explored to reduce the use of fossil fuel. On one hand, the waste of renewable wind energy is avoided; on the other hand, the environment is also prevented from the GHG pollution in Singapore. But there are risks along with the benefits in the wind energy generation filed, so make a simulation in software for analysis is a good choice to get the result. The LabVIEW program is useful and easy to operate by the user. As the location, wind turbines, and parameters of wind energy system are defined by user, the program will show you the annual energy. Since the costs and financial parameters are defined by user, the after-tax cash flow and equity payback time by years are showed in the program. So it is convenient for user to analyze the benefit for wind energy system project. And the program is verified by using MAPE method to ensure the correct of it. At the end of the simulation section, a case study for the wind energy system in NTU is showed, and the result of the simulation is proved that wind energy is not suitable for Singapore. The low wind speed is a big problem of wind power generation in Singapore.
