Conference organizers have especially begun to favor online web based conference management systems for their simplicity and ease of use. Within a short period of time since their inception, conference organizers worldwide have already received these web based conference management systems with open arms. Henceforth, the above-mentioned serves as the motivation behind creating a web conference management system as a Final Year Project. Through the literature review, the framework of current web based conference management systems is analyzed and observations on current web development design trends are made. This report also serves to document the creation of a web based conference management system using web development tools: PHP/CSS/HTML/mySQL. The paper will also show the project’s potential as a useful and valuable conference management tool for the academic society, in the future.
