The key of this project is to build up a variable-speed tidal turbine equipped with permanent magnet synchronous generator. This project is divided into model build of tidal turbine and PMSG and control part. As the control part carried out, the system can harness maximum power from flowing waves at variable tidal speed. After adjustment, stable and efficient output power can be generated from the system.
