Hence, the large-scale and small-scale fading characteristics of the urban environment have been, and remain ever relevant for radio designers for effective wireless communication. The aim of this project is to better the comprehension of radio propagation characteristics, the path loss and measure techniques of narrowband signals. The procedures, processes, results and findings of this project are documented in this report. The band of frequencies of interested was from the VHF to UHF frequency bands which most of our daily used technological products operates within. This comprises of objects like the television and mobile phones to systems such as the Wi-Fi and GPS networks. Multiple sets of data were collected at various urban locations with varying surroundings using Continuous Wave (CW) for Narrowband radio waves of multiple frequencies. The results are processed and analysed.
