Chapter 2 gives a detailed review on optical fiber structures and fiber based interferometric sensors. Chapter 3 illustrates the fabrication techniques utilized in this project. Chapter 4 documents the design process and mechanism of the interferometric sensor proposed in this project. Chapter 5 concludes and suggests possible applications of optical fiber based interferometers. |
