Over the years, the Internet has been a platform for many to obtain their information and it is for this reason that the boundary between accurate and not so accurate information has become a blur. Till this day, many are lacking in the art of information literacy which looks at how a person perceives the information in hand and how he/she would filter, refine and re-seek the right information for their use. Information instead is used at face value, causing more confusion and entrenching the habit of first retrieved, first used. This study aims to examine the youths of Singapore who are in tertiary educational institutes of different faculties, and their usage of Wikipedia as a source of information, academically or for personal interest. Secondly, through the results obtained through a diary study approach on these students, I look at the patterns in information seeking amongst them and how these findings fit into a chosen information seeking behaviour process derived from the past.
