The ability of enter network while mobility has great benefit. Unlike the wired network, wireless network brought new challenges for administrators and business users due to its broadcast radio-frequency (RF) data for client communication. However, Wireless LANs brought bigger security threat compared to the wired network. As a result, it is very important that users select effective encryption methods that protect against unauthorized access to private data. The object of Final Year Project is to evaluate the vulnerabilities of the wireless security standards, encryption technologies with Virtue Private Network (VPN) technologies. During the evaluation, software named as SecureCommunication2.0 and a Mobile-Robot Tracking System are created to simulate the VPN communication through the wireless infrastructure on top of wireless security standard. The SecureCommunication2.0 and Mobile-Robot Tracking System include different types of encryption technologies such as Digital Encryption Standard (DES), Diffie-Hellman Public Key Algorithm, ElGamal algorithms, Message Digests and Digital Signatures. Systems are developed based on Java Developer Kit (1.4.2) and JCreator LE (4.5), etc. Bachelor of Engineering 2013-06-24T04:04:32Z 2013-06-24T04:04:32Z 2013 2013 Final Year Project (FYP) http://hdl.handle.net/10356/54574 en Nanyang Technological University 51 p. application/pdf
