An alternative technique is used for tracking the maximum power point (MPP) of solar arrays. Some real applications of solar system for different loads such as resistive load, DC motor load and battery charging are described. The modeling and simulation of the PV panel and DC-DC converter with MPPT is carried out using with PSIM software.
