Description
Summary:The continuous increasing of fuel cost and the concern of environment pollution has led the world into development of renewable energy generation. Hence, renewable energy resources such as wind and solar have become essential part of generating resource. Many countries are considering using solar energy technologies in their future planning. Areas with high solar irradiation just like Singapore, fully utilizing of building surfaces and roof to implement solar system. The maximum solar power penetration in Singapore Powergrid is being assigned as a research project in order to help the researcher to enhance the knowledge on the current power penetration in Singapore. With this knowledge, researcher will be able to implement the innovative idea to maximize the current solar power system in Singapore. This report contains the research development of the present Singapore power distribution, detail technology of conversion system of solar energy into electrical energy and research development of solar power generation capabilities in Singapore.
