Description
Summary:The world today appears to be entering another era of change, with a view towards minimizing energy, carbon and environmental footprint. The change is being driven by a need to optimise and conserve the depleting natural resources for electrical supply. Energy management system, a product of the transformative technologies, thus holds the key in meeting the challenges. This report outlines a key component, HVAC system, and attempt to optimise this emerging technology that accounts for a large amount of electrical demand within the building. These are achieved by the integration of the analysis tools together with energy management system to acquire the cost effective configuration. The simulated chiller system helps to simplify the complexity in determining the most basic characteristic of a HVAC system and achieved its highest potential. In addition, features such as monitoring and computation of various energy parameters promote operation efficiency within the production process. With better operation readiness and high system performance in the mechanical cooling production, it will effectively aid in operational cost saving and contribute to environment friendliness.
