Adhesion of plasma sprayed bioceramic coatings
Fundamental issues on the adhesive strength of hydroxyapatite (HA) coatings produced by plasma spray onto Ti-6A1-4V substrates have been investigated in this study, which was driven by the relative low adhesive strength of HA coatings for medical applications.
