The key point of this project is the pixel circuit design and control signal design. With the control signal, the pixel can take two pictures in a moment, and then expose the two pictures. The aim of the project is to design this smart image sensor for high speed motion detection, in particular for road traffic enforcement. This dissertation is to design a 512x512 pixel array with image processing circuit around it. Based on this pixel array, it will first operate at motion detection mode with low resolution and high frame rate. This pixel array can export two pictures at same time, and the two pictures are continuous. We can recognize the object of interest and obtain the region of interest in the scene through the two pictures. The key point of this report is to design the high speed, low power and two-output pixel array.
