Description
Summary:Time-lapse photography is a cinematography technique whereby the frequency at which frame rate are captured is much lower than that which will be used to play the sequence back. This project aims to develop a web application that allows easy and intuitive way to perform capture time-lapse video. The web application was developed on top of Raspberry Pi, a credit card size computer. The motorized slider consists of a stepper motor mounted on top of a rack. The stepper motor communicates with the Raspberry Pi via General Purpose Input Output (GPIO) port. Various mobile device web browsers can be used to access the web application via direct Wi-Fi connection to the Raspberry Pi. The web application developed provides various functions such as configuring the slider path and having a smooth turning effect. Future work can be done to improve the performance of the application.
