First proposed in 2009, Internet of Things (IoT) has been applied to many fields in our lives such as waste management, urban planning, sustainable environment, continuous care, intelligent shopping, smart product management, etc. [1]. The introduction of wireless communication in Internet-of-Things (IoT) environment has led to a higher overall quality of services. The wireless communication system can reduce the deployment cost; increase the accessibility of sensing data in emerging machine-to-machine applications. Comprehensive wireless monitoring requires a highly reliable network access and user-friendly data acquisition, processing, visualization and control modules for good user experience. In this project, a wireless IoT system, incorporated with sensors, will be deployed and tested, which could allow inexpensive and continuous monitoring with real-time updates of records. And also, wireless performance will be tested and evaluated in the testbed. The user-friendly data processing and visualization modules will be developed for sensing data monitoring.
