In the first two chapters, the report will introduce the background of GPS and explain the method to locate the receiver user position. It also covers the signal processing inside GPS receiver and gives a review of close loop transfer function in linear system. The third chapter includes my design algorithm and the methods of coefficient calculation. And the simulation results are recorded in chapter four. Through this project, Matlab 2008a is used to run the program of software GPS receiver and Maple 15 is used in coefficient calculation.
