重生小说常与穿越小说混淆，所以本文首先梳理重生小说的各种定义，区分开两个相似的类别以供其他学者能清楚地研究其类型。论文旨在透过网络文学中的都市重生小说来看中国社会面貌。第二章主要表现了中国人与自然法则对抗的心态而第三章可看出中国社会风气和非主流的爱情观。通过不同的角度来进行文本细读和分析，本文希望显示不同的中国面貌。再者，学者对于重生小说这方面的研究尚属罕见，欲借此补充学术上的空白，达到为“重生小说”正名，使其在网络小说类型创作和研究的领域中拥有等同于穿越小说的地位。这对我们的文学史和当下的文学创作都有重要的启迪和借鉴意义。The boundary between “time-travelling” fictional writings and “urban reborn” novels are often blurred, hence through the re-definition of “urban reborn” novels in this paper, these two similar genres are differentiated. This separation will enable other researchers to research on them with a clear idea of the two genres. Moreover, research findings on “urban reborn” novels have been rare. Therefore, this thesis will attempt to fill up the gap in this area of research to establish “urban reborn” as an independent genre, as comparable with the status of “time-travelling” fictional writings. Such attempt will be valuable to further research and creative writing. Most importantly, this thesis aims to look closely at the different facets of China’s society through close readings and analysis of the text.
