Video-to-cartoon is a promising technology for mobile applications. The basic idea is to convert a common videos, particular sports video, into a simple cartoon with the same semantic meaning. The success of a video-to-cartoon system depends on the video content analysis component to accurately detect playfield and track players, and the reality of the cartoon generation. Although much progress has been made, the performance of most existing video-to-cartoon systems is limited since they mainly consider single-view videos and reconstruct 2D cartoons.
