To increase awareness among those concerned with computing about failures in computer contracts, this research seeks to uncover the major legal issues occurring in computer contracts in the United States of America. From the analysis of the legal cases, we identify prototypical disputes and investigate the reasons behind their occurrence. Various trends in computer contract disputes are also addressed. We conclude by highlighting the contract failures and recommend possible solutions to address the possible legal problems and to decrease the likelihood of failures.
