Construction of the "Third Front" district in the mid-1960s has turned the province into one of the country's largest industrial bases as well. The experience of Sichuan Province serves as an interesting case in the study of economic growth in China's inland region. In this project, an econometric model is built to study certain features of Sichuan's agricultural, state-owned industrial and foreign investment sectors. Three simulations are run to achieve this purpose. The model consists of 13 behavioural equations and 7 identities. Each equation is estimated using the Ordinary Least Squares method and the model is solved using the Gauss-Seidel procedure.
