The aim of this paper is threefold. Firstly, this paper seeks to determine whether the stock market is overvalued based on three indicators, namely, the price earning ratio, dividend yield and Market-to-Book ratio. Secondly, this paper will determine the effectiveness of the stock indicators by establishing whether profitable trading strategies of each of the three indicators exists. Thirdly, the validity of the trading strategy identified will be tested.
