This study provides some estimates of productivity growth which may serve as benchmarks for assessing more detailed studies. We employ only published sources for our computations. The results we have obtained are used to compare with previous papers. They indicate that while comparisons across sectors are not possible due to the lack of sector-specific data, our calculated TFP results are found close to those obtained by previous studies.
