In this era of modern technology, people are expected to work in a fast-paced work environment, especially in tertiary industry or service sector, e.g. hospital. In the past, service sector was not the main economic sector as people were more dependent on the primary sector, e.g. fishing, mining and agriculture, as well the secondary sector, which was product manufacturing sector. But now, service sector has taken over as the largest sector of the economy, especially in Western world, and it is also the fastest-growing sector.
As the fastest-growing sector of the economy, the service sector encounters a very tight competition against each other. They are expected to provide the best services possible wherever and whenever asked. And in order to provide the best services possible, they have to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment, which means that the time needed to do the work, must be minimalized.
In order to minimalize the time to do the work, the use of website is utilized and optimized. By using website, people can significantly reduce the time to pass the information and data from one to another and by doing so; the level of the service offered can be improved. In hospital, the speed of information exchange between doctors, nurses, therapists, radiographers and radiologists will significantly affect the performance as the doctors often need to check the patient’s medical record when they want to diagnose the symptoms of patient’s illness.
Therapist Portal is the answer to that issue. By utilizing Therapist Portal, the doctors can check the patient’s medical record, diagnose the symptoms, and provide proper treatments. It means that Therapist Portal can help all the therapists to do their jobs easier, faster and more efficient. |
