It serves as the artist's reflection upon multiple problems faced in her real life, a self-exploration of emotions and finally, a resolution to help remind her that life goes on and to be strong. Art direction of the animation is influenced by elements of Japanese woodblock prints and traditional Chinese calligraphic paintings. The artist was born in Hong Kong but migrated to Singapore at a young age. A sense of Diaspora has constantly driven her to continuously search for a culture of which she feels a belonging to, hence her work aims to mix various cultural visual elements. This project is not just a milestone conceived to mark the artist's mental growth, but also aims to speak to the audiences about human's tenacity in the face of misfortunes beyond their control.
