Description
Summary:130912 is a reflection of the artist’s intimate collection of thoughts and memories of her late husband who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on 13 September 2012. Through a series of ritualistic site specific performances dealing with a polar opposite – preservation and destruction – the artist stages scenes that allow her to explore her loss. This series of performances are documented and presented in a form of a mixed media installation, which will lead us to reflect on memory, ephemerality, preservation and letting go.
