Case studies of JIT applied to Singapore
The Just-in-time philosophy has been used by firms in Singapore since 1986. It was pioneered by Mr. Taiichi Ohno of Toyota Motor Company in Japan. The JIT philosophy has permeated the production world although it challenges many traditional production practices.
