Summary:This report was motivated by the authors' curiosity regarding the differences between the economy of Hong Kong and Singapore. Both were developing countries that have performed very well in recent years, being named as two of the 'Four Tigers' in Asia. Macroeconomics data of the two countries was examined and compared. Special attention was paid to the manufacturing industries that contributed to the main difference between the economy of the two countries.
