GST in Singapore : a case study of systems changes in the retail sector
The Goods & Services Tax (GST) was introduced in Singapore on the 1st April 1994. With the enactment of the GST Act, GST -registered firms will have to modify their existing accounting systems to meet the new statutory requirements.
