Description
Summary:In the last decade or so, Singapore has made a mark on the map of affluent countries. Ironically, the good life has been accompanied by a storm of restrictions. The COE scheme was intended to hinder car purchase. However, any amount of success of this system is contradicted by a booming luxury car market. Rising affluence is one significant contributing factor. Our survey results serves as confirmatory evidence. However, the future growth of the luxury car market may be dampened by the recent barriers erected by the government.
