Summary:Recognition of Asian dynamism began in the 1970s, with the emergence of the Pacific Rim. However, it is only in recent years that the Asia-Pacific region has became the talking point of international investors. Studies have been done on the views of investors towards Asian countries but none has researched on the views of bankers. The TT & T's project hence attempts to find out how the 5-year risk and return outlooks of the Asia's 15 most important countries are perceived in the eyes of bankers, for they would be one of the major forces driving the growth behind Asia.
