The idea was originated from the personal experience as being a student who finds it difficult to cope with list of tasks to be completed every day. In order to support the features of the android application, a back-end server is needed to support these requests to access the database server for data retrieval, storage and processing. The author is responsible for the experimental study on the design of back-end system in order to implement the best solution for the mentioned objective of this project. Jensen is responsible for the design and implementation of the android application. Besides experimental study on the design and implementation of the back-end system, the author also did a study and implemented push notification services to notify mobile application users of the tasks to be accomplished. In addition, automated email progression report was also implemented to enhance users’ experience and motivate the completion of daily tasks. This report would conclude on the result findings of the performance measured of the implemented back-end system and how future work could bring this project to greater heights.
