Information visualization is one of the popular research fields today as it helps to bring users and the data together using graphical representations. This report is on the visualization of data collected from IMDb website by a group of senior NTU students for their project. This project analyzes the relationship between various attributes of the data. Prior to visualization, the raw data is pre-processed and cleaned. A visualization technique suitable for the data is chosen after studying various techniques. Steps are taken ensure that the visualization is effective and expressive. The overall objective of the visualization is achieved. Nonetheless, there is still room for improvements, which will be continued in the remaining time frame available.
