Description
Summary:A low cost web based system designed to monitor the usage and power generated from the solar power system. The proposed solar monitoring system consisted of a hardware monitoring setup and a web application. The hardware setup consisted a Raspberry Pi, an Omron data logger and three mono-crystalline solar panels. Latest readings from the solar panels is collected by the hardware setup and shared in the web solar monitoring system. The web system is implemented with open source web resources and hosted on a web server installed in Raspberry Pi. The web server would be published online to allow data sharing. This solar monitoring system is built around an existing solar power system located at NTU N4.1 building.
