The objectives set out at the beginning of the project were for the student to improve the existing 3D holographic projector at the Centre for Optical and Laser Engineering (COLE) laboratory at NTU, for them to prepare holographs for display, and to prepare an instruction manual. A review of background theory is supplied, along with the steps taken in the design optimisation process. Detailed CAD drawings of all the components in the projector are also provided. In the appendices section of the report, an instruction manual for the projector is also provided. Project objectives were completed ahead of time and to a satisfactory standard in regards to the original scope. The 500 Singapore dollar budget was not exceeded.
