Description
Summary:In this research, the author assessed different innovative designs and then fabricated the selected design to generate power using simulated ocean wave. It also covers how the magnetic field strength was measured, the common errors during measuring and how to avoid them. The author also looked into how the variation in amplitude of motion for the magnets would affect the induced voltage obtained from a solenoid. Then, the relationship between the amount of induced voltage generated with varying number of magnets, the frequency of the magnet’s motion and the amount of copper wire turns in the solenoid was investigated. The author also reviewed the causes for the variation of experimental and theoretical results. Subsequently, the problems encountered during the testing and how to solve them were discussed. Finally, the author will look into what are the areas of improvement can be installed on this project.
