Description
Summary:Inductive power transfer is a common method that is used widely in wireless power transfer applications. One of the typical applications is the wireless EV charging system. This report has been focused on the understanding of this kind of energy transfer system. The IPT system has been built in Matlab Simulink to simulate the effect of resonant in the energy transfer process. And a real model has been built according the blueprint. Through simulation, it is found that the resonant structure of this wireless power transfer system plays an important role in delivering the power efficiently. The network with resonant topology can transfer 450 times more energy compared to the normal circuit. The simulation verifies that the IPT system is new effective means in power transfer. After the establishment of the model, many characteristics of the advanced power electronics have been observed and studied. The theory of optimum design of the circuit board has also been studied and applied in this report.
