| Summary: | The thesis focuses on the integration of the planning software – Adexa into company’s ERP system. The balancing and scheduling logic that Adexa is currently using is demonstrated. Test cases are designed to justify the sorting logic. Then, a close look into the Adexa’s production schedules given by the trial runs is conducted. The loading for each work center in this department is calculated, followed by an investigation into the reasons for the overloading work centers. Then, appropriate counter measures are proposed and implemented to ensure all the settings in Adexa is correct and reasonable. |
