Description
Summary:This report presents the final year project - Interactive Learning Module for Android Based Devices that have spanned over 2 academic semesters. Design, implementation, debugging and deployment are essential procedures to ensure that the project is on schedule and is near completion at the end of the Final Year Project. Passive learning contributes to a huge part of the learning cycle in most undergraduate's life. However, there are limitations to how students take in information during lectures or tutorials. For the case of active learning, students' involvement and participation are important for their own learning. It is through the continuous practicing and applying the theories learnt during classes that allow most students to learn faster and more efficiently. Over the course of 2 semesters, an edutainment application is developed to provide a platform for students to actively involve themselves and to provide them with the opportunities to put into practice what they have learnt. A detailed breakdown of the features implemented in the edutainment application is included in this report as well as the future work that this project is capable of achieving.
