Description
Summary:Accord Logistics is a third party logistics provider (3PL) with a large number of clients in the Asia Pacific. Currently, there is no workload balancing system in Accord and to maximize resource utilization and cost reduction in warehouse operations, the team proposes to develop a resource allocation system that will be interfaced with the current warehouse management system (WMS). The daily workload will be quantified in term of man-hours, allowing the warehouse executives to schedule the tasks efficiently for the warehouse assistants. The required resources required will be allocated based on the proposed optimized algorithms.
