Summary:In today’s competitive business environment, leaders face the challenge of leading and influencing people from all facets of an organization. Great leadership is not inborn. With appropriate assessments, leaders can understand and nurture their leadership style. This report documents the development of a 360 Leadership Style Web Assessment System based on the FIRO-B® (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation–Behaviour™) and the MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®) instruments. FIRO-B® is a theory on interpersonal relationships while MBTI® is a personality assessment tool. The scope of this Final Year Project (FYP) includes a research on 360 Leadership Style, FIRO-B® and MBTI® for generating questionnaire and analysis; development of algorithm for FIRO-B® and MBTI® categorization; development of the web assessment system and lastly, the implementation and enhancements of the web assessment system. In addition, this report will discuss the relationship between 360 leadership, interpersonal relation and personality theories, the description of programming language used as well as the coding for the web assessment system.
