Description
Summary:Due to the increasing amount of photovoltaic distributed generations worldwide, there is also an increase in demand for the photovoltaic generators to be designed to enhance voltage quality. power quality surveys to deduce the probability of occurrence of a voltage sag event One of the newer designs is the series-connected solar power generation scheme (SPVG). The author seeks to determine the ride-through capability of the SPVG using statistical analysis. This is achieved by using with a certain magnitude and duration as well as weather report data to determine the probability of solar irradiance. Hence, the sag event and solar irradiance are considered random variables in the analysis.
