Transmission line with vaporous and gaseous cavitation
This study presents a complete research on the transmission line with vaporous and gaseous cavitation. The aim of the project is to improve the performance and reliability of systems and thus able to predict the onset and degree of cavitation taking place. A literature review of the fundamental t...

description |
This study presents a complete research on the transmission line with vaporous and gaseous cavitation. The aim of the project is to improve the performance and reliability of systems and thus able to predict the onset and degree of cavitation taking place.
A literature review of the fundamental theories of cavitation and the method of analysis are presented in the report. Previous studies on the cavitation models are also introduced.
Basic differential equations for transient flow are used and accompanied by the method of characteristics, the vaporous and gaseous cavitation model can be developed. The model is able to relate closer to the experimental results and it overcomes the deficiencies of the previous models. |
