Description
Summary:The report presents an experimental investigation to study the effects of surface modification, orientation and temperatures on pool boiling performance in terms of heat flux and boiling coefficients. A thermosyphon system was set up to determine the subcooled pool boiling characteristics of a 1 cm by 1 cm heated silicon surface coated with carbon nanotubes in varying patterns under atmospheric condition with FC-72 as the working fluid.
