Monthly and yearly creep and shrinkage effects are also taken into account. Many past researches have studied the effects of creep and shrinkage of composite members, especially in different relative humidity (RH), with some focusing on specifically high-rise buildings. The phenomenon of creep and shrinkage provides an interesting research topic and remains to be understood fully, especially under different specific conditions. This research aims to analyse the importance of creep and shrinkage effects due to different conditions for composite buildings in Singapore, especially daily behaviours for concrete building. Modelling analysis was conducted to estimate creep and shrinkage deformations using nonlinear staged construction analysis and designed according to ACI-318 criteria. (American Concrete Institute). This is to estimate the maximum deflection due to creep and shrinkage of concrete members under various relative humidity and temperature. Simulation of the concrete structures under actual environment conditions was used to analyse the behaviour of structures at different time intervals. Daily, monthly and yearly behaviours of creep and shrinkage of a 3-meter portal frame and 45-stories buildings are determined by calculations and results obtained in SAP2000. The most undesirable deformation of a concrete building in Singapore is estimated from the results obtained. The degree of deformation depends largely on the relative humidity. Concrete structures must have adequate safety factor against failure and must also exhibit satisfactory performance in service.
