In the course of continuous exploration, different ceramic materials have different physical and electrical properties. By using the different properties, people can discover and develop applications to improve human’s life. This report aims to study electronic ceramics in Light Emitting Diode and energy saving. With describing about ceramic history and LED history, three types of different electronic ceramics materials Silicon carbide (SiC), Gallium arsenide (GaAs) and Gallium nitride (GaN) in LED have been discussed. These three semiconductor materials are mainly focused on their electronic characteristics. Furthermore, this report also touches on the energy saving of LED light and its applications. Ceramics have inseparable connection in the history of human civilization and development, from ancient times of fossils, rocks, to the present time, such as semiconductors, wireless communication, ceramic materials are widely used and can be seen in everywhere.
