The project owners are needing more and more BIM products from Architects, Engineer firms and Construction site managers. Many construction firms are now using "BIM" technologies in pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages. Productivity is the goods and services produced from each hour of work which it is the magic elixir of economic progress. This is why we live better than our grandparents did, without working longer hours. Precast concrete components are normally manufactured in the Precast factory or Precast yard and delivered to site for installation. So the design process of the precast component are very important, it can affect both manufacture stage and installation stage. Many knowledge and skill were learnt, such as the responsibility of an engineer. This is because it involves not only death and life of people but also the money & time of the Project Owner, during using life of the structure and also during construction stage. As an engineer, we should ensure zero error in the calculations, and ensure sound judgment and decision and provide better design in both design and construction stage.
