Description
Summary:The Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a monostatic radar imaging system which provides strategical, technical and economic advantage. Currently, most SAR are being integrated on manned aircraft and are being used in area surveying, target detection and even weather conditions. This project will investigation of the reproduction of Super High Frequency (SHF) of the SAR on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) where key and important parameters will be observed and studied. This report will be covering the initial production of the SAR frequency which requires mixing to produce a required high frequency for transmission. Various modules are being used for the production of high frequency which requires a control board such as FPGA and microcontrollers to control its exact frequency. Hence, investigation on which control board will be the most effective in the implementation of configuring the high frequency Phase Locked Loop (PLL) module.
