Summary: | For any work or learning environment, Microsoft PowerPoint is the most use software when it comes to presentation. It is easy to modify the presentation for a specific target audience. It has not only simple design but also powerful multimedia support. It simply makes presentation more exciting than handwritten paper or any word-processing software. Normally PowerPoint presentation slides are used for similar format or themes. Some jobs are doing repeatedly over and over again. Macro plays important role for this.
Using predefined macro in PowerPoint slide is one good reason for user to save time and effort. A macro is the collection set of command which you can predefine using macro recorder. It is the automated instruction that you can do anything. Sometimes macro is mistakenly appeared as a virus because of macro warning when opening PowerPoint Slide file. Although macros can be created for malicious purpose, most macros are harmless and can increase quality of presentation.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 supports the writing macro not only with Macro recorder but also with Visual Basic for Application (VBA). VBA is the object-oriented programming language which base on Visual Basic 6. VBA coding can be developed in VBA editor. VBA micro can be save as Microsoft PowerPoint Addin file (.ppam) extension as to recall later from any PowerPoint slides to be used. |
