Renewable energy using solid state fuel cell technology
Using non-renewable fossil fuel as the electrical energy source has been found unsustainable in the recent years. Studies have shown its unsustainability in the steep increment in energy consumption across the globe and harvests of fossil fuel which will peak in 2088. The aim of this study...

description |
Using non-renewable fossil fuel as the electrical energy source has been found
unsustainable in the recent years. Studies have shown its unsustainability in the steep
increment in energy consumption across the globe and harvests of fossil fuel which
will peak in 2088. The aim of this study is to investigate the use of fuel cell
technology as sustainable renewable energy. This fuel cell technology generates
electricity by using electrochemical conversion which allows electricity production
with fuel supplied regardless of environmental condition. However, there are few
drawbacks in term of heat management and costly materials.
In this study, we will introduce the development of fuel cell technology and examine
the progress of fuel cell technologies in application especially in portable region.
Preliminary attempt in creating portable charger for electronic device is achievable.
Future work on the materials and methodology to fabricate suggest possibility of
improving cost effective and the use of portable fuel cell charger to be widely
adopted. |
