This requires a highly effective, precise and relatively sensitive software that is able to acquire the laser’s optical power and other equipment reading on the hardware after integrating with the hardware onboard transmission device. This thesis first aim is to study and understand the high power fiber laser hardware module functions that it is designed for. In the second stage, existing applications in the market will be researched and studied upon to determine the capabilities of these applications that are currently available. Next, a software application will be designed and developed merely for the high power fiber laser hardware module after going through the researches. With the software application successfully developed, integration and implementation of use with the hardware module will be made possible. Finally, improvement and fine tuning of the software application can be made with the hardware module to collect all measurements with precise precision. In conclusion, the results of this thesis will allow end user to acquire precise information to perform analysis of the module assembly and output laser. At the same time also monitor any problem or abnormalities with the hardware module. With this, further necessary improvements could be implemented to this hardware module to prepare it for the next phase of development for use as an industrial application.
